I watched the coolest new show on TV last night (Tues. 9 pm CT): i-Caught. It shows interesting video clips captured by everyday people. Most of the clips shown were taken from You Tube.
One video clip was taken by someone on an African safari. It showed a baby water buffalo and how it survived being attacked by lions and an alligator and how the herd came back to rescue it!
Other clips included "first dances" by wedding couples (I have some wedding couples who do some great first dances!). Perhaps they are inspired by "Dancing With The Stars". These orchestrated "first dances" really spice up their wedding video and you get some great crowd reaction as well. TV shows like these emphasize how important "video" is and how it captures live events in a way that a "still photo" can't. You can watch some of these featured videos on the i-caught website. The show is slated for a six-week run, but I hope it becomes a regular series.
